给经典电影做修复真的是不仅是一项技术活，更考验修复人员对艺术的态度是否真诚。
意图通过回顾电影制作花絮和展现胶片修复过程两条线来展开，可能是碍于篇幅所限，最终两条线都只是草草带过，并未讲述太多内容，当然，这种纪录片肯定少不了老马丁现身说法，开头与结尾各发表了一番感想。
